Rogers Inoac Corporation (RIC) is a 50% owned joint venture with INOAC Corporation, a $3 billion privately held Japanese firm that manufactures PORON® high performance polyurethane foam predominantly to serve the Japanese market. Established in 1989, RIC manufactures PORON in Nagoya and Mie, Japan and is our oldest continuous joint venture.
Rogers Inoac Suzhou Corporation (RIS) also is a 50% owned joint venture with INOAC Corporation established in 2004. RIS manufactures PORON® polyurethane foams in Suzhou, China, primarily for supplying RIC customers in the Chinese market. It is managed under the same guidelines as the original RIC joint venture above
