When Ordering - High Frequency/Prepreg

When ordering High Frequency Laminates or Prepreg specify the following information:

Grade:
  • RT/duroid® 5870,5880 Glass Microfiber Reinforced PTFE Composite Materials
  • ULTRALAM® 2000 Woven Glass Reinforced PTFE Material.
  • RT/duroid® 6002,6202, 6202PR PTFE Ceramic Material
  • RT/duroid® 6006, and 6010.2LM Ceramic PTFE Composite Materials
  • RO3003™, RO3035™, RO3006™, RO3010™, RO3203™, RO3210™ PTFE/Ceramic
  • RO4003C™, RO4350B™ Hydrocarbon Ceramic Laminates
  • RO4450B™ /RO4450F™ Hydrocarbon Ceramic Prepreg – 24X18” sheets available in packages of 5 or 25.
  • TMM® 3, 4, 6, 10, 10i and 13i Hydrocarbon Ceramic Materials
  • ULTRALAM 3000 Liquid Crystalline Polymer Materials
Panel Thickness, Tolerance and Sizes: Dielectric thickness is measured without the copper foil cladding. Refer to the standard thickness and panel size information below.

Type of Foil and Cladding:
  • RT/duroid - ¼, ½, 1 and 2 ounce electrodeposited and ½, 1 and 2 ounce rolled copper foil or unclad.
  • TMM - ½, 1 and 2 ounce electrodeposited or unclad.
  • *ULTRALAM 2000 - ½, 1 and 2 ounce electrodeposited and rolled copper foil.
  • *RO3003, *RO3006, *RO3010, RO3035, RO3203, RO3206 and RO 3210 laminates - ½, 1, and 2 ounce electrodeposited copper two sides.
  • *RO4003C - ½, 1 and 2 ounce electrodeposited copper foil two sides.
  • *RO4350B - ½, 1 and 2 ounce electrodeposited copper foil two sides.
  • *ULTRALAM 3850 - ½ and 1 ounce electrodeposited copper foil two sides.
  • Thick aluminum, copper and brass claddings are also available in a range of thickness' and thickness tolerances. Other metal backings are available upon request. Standard heavy metal thicknesses

*Thick metal backing is not available on ULTRALAM 2000, ULTRALAM 3000, RO3000® series and RO4000® laminates.

When Ordering - Thin Dielectrics

When ordering Thin Dielectrics - R/flex® Flexible Circuit Materials specify the following information:

Unsupported Bonding Film:
  • Adhesive System
  • Adhesive Thickness (mils)
  • Roll width or panel size
  • IPC certification requirements
Coverfilms and Bondplys:
  • Adhesive System
  • Adhesive Thickness (mils)
  • Polyimide Thickness (mils)

Specification Requirements

Standard specifications are Rogers’ material specification.

All other specification requirements must be identified at the time the order is placed. If special testing or data generation is required, additional costs may be incurred.
