Rogers makes industry-leading DUREL® electroluminescent (EL) lamps and integrated circuit (IC) drivers and dur-E-volt™ high-voltage LED drivers for a wide range of applications.
Our DUREL electroluminescent lamp products are based on patented technology using encapsulated phosphors. Designers choose DUREL EL lamps when performance, quality, thin forms and flexibility are required. They use them to backlight numerous consumer electronic and portable communication devices including cell phones, PDAs and GPS units. DUREL EL lamps are also designers’ product of choice for use in automotive interior displays such as instrument clusters. In advertising, DUREL EL lamps are used for indoor and outdoor advertising displays and point of purchase displays.
We developed our first DUREL high voltage electroluminescent (EL) IC driver in 1993, in response to our customers need to have one company provide the entire EL lighting solution—both the lamp and the power supply. Since then, Rogers has developed an extensive line of these high performance devices. Using our proprietary circuit design, we achieve low-noise performance for applications that are sensitive to electrical and audible noise.
We introduced our first light-emitting diode (LED) integrated circuit driver in 2008 to meet the growing demands for high-voltage IC components for the general illumination market, including street and residential lighting. We were able to respond rapidly to our customers’ needs because of our long history and experience with high-voltage EL drivers and applications as well as our depth of experience in this market.
Quality is a Rogers hallmark. All DUREL IC drivers are RoHS and WEEE compliant. DUREL EL lamps are manufactured in ISO9001:2000 certified facilities.
