Patented, encapsulated phosphors are the core foundation of the DUREL® electroluminescent lamp product line. When performance, quality, thin form and flexibility are required, designers choose Durel's electroluminescent (EL) lamps. DUREL EL lamps are used to backlight numerous consumer electronic and portable communication devices, such as cellphones, PDAs and GPS units, as well as automotive interior applications, including instrument clusters, and advertising displays.
In 1993, when designers told us they wanted one company to provide the entire EL lighting solution (lamp and power), Rogers developed its first in a long line of high voltage electroluminescent IC drivers. These high performance devices use a proprietary circuit design for low noise performance in applications that are sensitive to electrical and audible noise.
Using its long history and experience with high voltage EL drivers and applications, Durel introduced its first LED (light emitting diode) integrated circuit in 2008 to meet the growing demands of high voltage IC components in the General Illumination market segment.
All of Rogers IC drivers are RoHS and WEEE compliant. DUREL EL lamps are manufactured in ISO9001:2000 certified facilities
