Chandler, Arizona, October 30, 2018 – Rogers Corporation (NYSE:ROG) is pleased to introduce DeWAL® DW950-52, an exciting addition to its portfolio of cap liner products. This new thinner option conforms more easily to a container opening, resulting in a reliable contact and confident seal.
DeWAL DW950 cap liners are engineered to seal and protect a wide range of containers and vials. The newest addition offers a thinner skived-PTFE layer than previous options. With a thinner skived PTFE layer DeWAL DW950-52 cap liners conform more easily to low-profile enclosure openings.
Superior chemical resistance and stability are key features of skived, non-porous PTFE. When combined with a closed-cell multi-layer foam, a chemically stable barrier and seal is produced that offers reliable control of the most critical container and vial contents. DeWAL DW950-52 is laminated with a proprietary process that does not require adhesive, thereby reducing the threat of contamination while still maintaining strong bond integrity and product durability.
Breanna Boyden Robbins, Product Line Manager at Rogers Corporation states, “We are pleased to introduce a thinner PTFE layer venting membrane. Thanks to excellent thickness control, we can now offer designers highly precise thickness tolerances to enable thinner profile designs.”
