Rogers Corporation is fully aware of the European Union regulation REACH, which stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical substances.
As a global specialty material company, we are classified as a manufacturer, importer and downstream-user as it relates to the REACH regulation. We are committed to complying with the legal requirements and providing a smooth transition to our customers and stakeholders during the pre-registration and registration process. Rogers has undertaken REACH to ensure a continual supply of materials used in Rogers' products and processes without interruption to our customers.
By December 1, 2008, Rogers had submitted pre-registration files for the substances requiring registration that are imported by Rogers into the European Union. We have received confirmation from the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) that all our substance pre-registrations have been accepted. Rogers is currently working toward the registration of these substances. Key suppliers in Europe have confirmed to us in writing that pre-registration has been completed by themselves, upstream suppliers, or Only Representatives.
We are aware of our obligation under Article 33 of REACH to provide recipients of our products with information in our possession regarding substances on the Candidate List present at levels above 0.1%.

RoHS/WEEE Documentation
Rogers is aware of the European Directive on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS). These substances include: Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium, Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB), and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDEs). The maximum concentrations are 0.1% or 1000 ppm (except for Cadmium, which is limited to 0.01% or 100 ppm) by weight of homogeneous material. Please refer to the letters of each product for Rogers compliance with the regulations.
