Rogers strategic goals for environmental, health and safety are based on three basic principles: prevent all workplace injuries and illnesses, seek excellence in EH&S management practices, and corporate social responsibility. To achieve our strategic goals, Rogers is embracing world-class environmental and safety management systems for all manufacturing operations.
Rogers has adopted ISO 14001:2004, an internationally recognized Environmental Management System, to ensure Rogers’ manufacturing sites maintain a comprehensive environmental management system that clearly defines and tracks global performance to environmental goals and initiatives. It specifies requirements for establishing an environmental policy, determining environmental impacts of products/processes, establishing environmental objectives and measurable goals, implementation of programs to meet goals, benchmarking and management review.
Rogers manufacturing facilities in the United States are following the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) to achieve safety excellence. Rogers is actively working to achieve VPP certification for its domestic manufacturing operations. As Rogers continues to expand manufacturing operations into new global markets, we are committed to hold all our international business units to the same high standards. Our international business units are seeking certification under OHSAS 18001 to demonstrate internationally recognized commitment to world-class safety.
