Most "custom contouring" materials take the shape of the foot one time, the first touch. This can create "hot spots" or sores when the foot isn’t the same shape as the first day. Warm, moist environments are found in a variety of places. Shoes provide especially favorable condition for bacteria and odors. But this doesn’t have to happen to your products. Microban technology is infused into most PORON materials for lasting, antimicrobial protection that won’t rub, wash, or wear away.
