Rogers Corporation Will Feature R/BAK® Cushion Mounting Tapes at Label EXPO 2010
Release Date: 08/20/2010

Rogers, CT, August 20, 2010 – Rogers Corporation (NYSE:ROG) will be exhibiting its broad range of R/bak® cushion mounting products for flexographic printing applications including its SA 3000 and PSA2 series of cushion mounting tapes at the upcoming Label Expo 2010, to be held September 14-16 in Chicago, IL (Booth #5001).

Rogers Corporation Will Feature R/BAK® Cushion Mounting Tapes at Label EXPO 2010

R/bak Cushion Mounting Materials are advanced, open cell urethanes that provide the most consistent, resilient cushioning for flexographic printing. R/bak materials reduce pressure and absorb shock for flexographic printing plates, resulting in longer plate and cushion life and higher print quality.

R/bak SA 3000 allows printers to better leverage the capabilities of today’s high speed flexo presses and maintains solids and reduced dot gain at speeds over 600m/min. Polyolefin tapes do not perform well at these speeds and will eventually break down. Rogers’ open cell polyurethane foam technology provides the cushioning needed to absorb shock better, and is uniquely positioned to maximize performance in both speed and final print quality, resulting in lower overall costs

With over 25 years of experience, Rogers is committed to helping customers around the globe increase productivity, reduce costs and grow their business. R/bak materials offer a broad range of cushion mounting products used in Film, Label & Corrugated Printing applications for flexographic printing, and are available worldwide through an extensive network of knowledgeable distributors.
