Special Feature Material - PORON® ProZorb™ Urethane
PORON® Urethanes, which are open cell and water vapor permeable, are enhanced in the PORON ProZorb series, offering built-in moisture control to keep the body dry and comfortable. They provide the ideal materials solution in Footwear and Apparel applications, among others, where bodily contact with the environment is of primary concern.
PORON ProZorb urethanes offer a superior level of combined moisture management and cushioning performance. These materials wick away moisture vapor from the body during use, then release the moisture vapor from the material when not in use.
The unique open cell structure of PORON Performance Urethanes sets them apart from other materials. Their excellent compression-set resistance maintains the integrity of the foam’s uniform cell structure. Not only does this yield long lasting cushioning benefits, but also provides consistent moisture management. Given the durability of the cell structure, the water vapor transfer remains consistent and the cells hold the moisture. We recommend textile or leather covering for comfort and wear strength.
