PORON® Performance Material

PORON® Performance Material, designated by the letter F in the descriptor, is used in a wide variety of products.  Its firmness offers high-energy return and excellent impact absorption for demanding work/outdoor, athletic and casual applications.

Footwear applications include footbeds, insoles, and sockliners.  General Consumer applications include hats, protective equipment cushioning and computer bag cushioning , among others.  We recommend textile or leather covering for comfort and wear strength.

PORON Performance (F) material is available:

• In standard thicknesses of 1.0mm to 12.7mm
• As PORON Permafresh® material (antimicrobial)
• As PORON ProZorb® material (moisture managing)
• As part of a PORON Dual Layer package (3mm and 4mm standard)
• Direct cast to Texon® Cellulose Board
• With special surfaces such as Suede
• Needlepunched with wicking fibers - Texel Summumtex®
