ARLON® coil insulation materials are comprised of a variety of high-performance uncured and semi-cured silicones that provide superior electrical insulation and environmental protection. The material’s excellent dielectric strength, high thermal stability, and flexibility paired with durability make it an ideal solution for the most demanding rail/locomotive applications such as motor coils, generator coils, and other large rotating machinery.

Rogers offers a full range of ARLON® primary field coil insulation materials designed and certifiable to various OEM specifications at Caterpillar EMD®, General Electric (GE), General Motors (GM), National Electric Coil (NEC), and BHEL.

The materials are available in range of constructions, colors, sizes, roll lengths, and widths. They can also be customized to a customer's exact specifications.
