  • PORON EVExtend 43: Thickness range of 0.039 to 0.118 in (1 to 3 mm) and density range of 7 to 20 lb/ft3 (112 to 320 kg/m3)

  • PORON EVExtend 43: Tight specification of 5% on compression set (per ASTM D3574 at 70⁰C), on select items
  • PORON EVExtend 71: Density range of 20 to 25 lb/ft3 (320 to 400 kg/m3) at thickness of 0.188 (3mm) thickness
  • PORON EVExtend 71: Excellent compression set resistance and stress relaxation properties


  • PORON EVExtend 43 maintains constant pushback force, allowing designers to meet both beginning and end of life limits despite cell pouch expansion
  • Lower density PORON EVExtend 43 provides excellent pressure management solutions for pouch applications where conformability is still critical
  • Higher density PORON EVExtend 43 and PORON EVExtend 71 are firmer battery pad offerings that provide excellent pressure management solutions for higher energy density, rigid prismatic, and solid state cell application where consistent, higher pressure is required for cell performance
